BAR OPERATIONS & LICENSING

HOTEL MANAGEMENT

Having overseen the management of all types of hotels, we have the knowledge and experience to prepare a management program for all venues regardless of size. This would include the creation of worksheets that would be used in your hotel on a daily basis along with training that would cover all aspects applicable to managing a successful licensed venue. Examples of what we would develop for you include;  OLGR Check sheets, Management Duties, Gaming Duties, Bar Duties and  Housekeeping Duties. These would all be customised based on your venue requirements. 

DAILY TAKINGS REPORTS

Whether your venue has multiple revenue streams or only one, we can develop  Daily Takings Reports specific to your venue (number of departments, etc). This would prove to be an invaluable tool to use for both your cash & stock management. 

PLAN OF MANAGEMENT POLICIES

We are experienced in providing input & guidance into any Plan of Management Policies that may be required for a Licensed Venues. At times, this may include working in consultation with your local licensing officers so as to minimise long delays in acquiring the necessary approvals. In many instances, these delays can be reduced by firstly consulting with the applicable government departments and getting a good understanding of their expectations prior to formally lodging any applications. 

VENUE PROFIT & LOSS REPORTS

No business owner can effectively run a business without knowing where they are making their profit or where they are potentially losing money. This is a crucial tool for any business owner to ensure that they reach their targets. We can create easy to use Profit & Loss reports for any owner / operator.   These would  be created for whatever period the venue owner / operator requires (weekly, monthly, quarterly etc). These reports can be easily maintained by the hotel owner / manager and they are a valuable tool, in particular for all new operators. 

ROSTERING & STAFF MANAGEMENT

For some business operators preparing staff rosters is a daunting task. Additionally, staff rosters not prepared correctly will result in reduced profits either due to poor customer service or an unnecessarily high payroll. We can review your business trading patterns and based on this, provide you with suggested roster for your consideration.  

LIQUOR & LICENSING MATTERS

As our company CEO has been a Hotel Licensee since 1978 and he has an expansive understanding of the problems that can arise whilst operating a licensed venue. He will work closely with you and any necessary government departments in an attempt to minimise any damage to your business (both immediate & future).

STOCK & CASH CONTROL 

Knowing how to manage your stock is critical to the success of any hotel. We can implement the right stock controls for your venue and provide you with detailed stock inventory reports with current cost prices. Further to this, we can conduct ongoing stocktakes for you (on a regular basis if required). Further to this, we work closely with all leading beverage suppliers thus we can ensure that you are ranging the correct stock in accordance with current market trends.

BUSINESS REVIEW & IMPROVEMENT

Our business reviews can be extensive or can be focused on only one or two aspects of your business, based on your specific requirements.  Having consulted venue owners and operators since 1986, we are qualified to thoroughly assess your business and identify any possible concerns that you should be made aware of. We will then develop a plan to assist in eliminating the problem, based on our findings from this review. 

COMMUNITY IMPACT STATEMENTS

Whilst we are not qualified to prepare these reports we have worked closely with many town planners & can provide you with our success stories and get you in touch with town planners in which we have had the most success with.
